- Status: Version 2.0 is ready and awaiting App Store review; it lands soon as a free update.
- Availability: Calento is free from July 31. Optional one-time Supporter, Champion, and Patron tiers unlock no features and add only cosmetic badges and thank-you messages. Get the current app on the Mac App Store.
- Schedule: The redesigned schedule puts the next event first and groups ongoing, today, tomorrow, later, and all-day events for quick scanning.
- Event actions: Join meetings, open calendar events, or copy meeting links from the next-event hero and event rows.
- Alerts: Full-screen alerts can cover every event, only meeting events, or be off. Choose timing at the event start, 1 minute before, or 5 minutes before, then snooze with Remind Me for 1, 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
- Calendar controls: Select calendars, show or hide past and all-day events, and choose the range of upcoming events.
- Quick event creation: Add a title, time, notes, and location from the menu bar without opening Calendar.app.
- Keyboard and accessibility: Navigate events and actions with the keyboard, with clear labels and support for VoiceOver and system accessibility settings.
- Onboarding and support: Refreshed onboarding and Settings → About surface support status, optional tiers, Restore Purchases, privacy information, and contact links.
- Privacy: Calento stays local-first: calendar data is processed on your Mac without analytics, tracking, telemetry, or calendar sync.
