Calento is a minimalist menu-bar calendar app for macOS. It's designed to give you a quick overview of your schedule and provide full-screen reminders so you never miss a meeting.
Calento uses the native calendar integration in macOS. You'll be prompted to grant calendar access when you first run the app. All your event data is processed on-device and is never sent anywhere.
Calento integrates with the native macOS Calendar app. To add your Google, Outlook, or other calendars, simply add them to the Calendar app in your Mac's System Settings under "Internet Accounts." Once added there, Calento will be able to display your events.
You can join meetings in all your favorite services. Calento supports over 50 platforms, including Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Discord, Slack, Webex, and many more. If your event includes a meeting link, Calento will find it and provide a one-click join button.
Currently, Calento's quick-add feature is designed to be lightweight, fast and simple letting you create an event with a title, notes, location, and time. For advanced options like adding participants or custom alerts, Calento automatically opens the new event in Apple's Calendar app where you can add all the details you need. I plan to expand these features in a future updates.
Yes! In Settings > Calendars you can select only calendars you need to keep your schedule clean and focused on what matters to you.

I take your privacy very seriously. Calento is built to be completely private. All your calendar data is processed directly on your device and is never sent anywhere. The app doesn't require an internet connection, and I do not collect any data.
Calento is a one-time purchase. You buy it once and own it forever, including all future updates. I believe in fair, transparent pricing, so there are no subscriptions or hidden fees, and there never will be.
I do not offer a free trial because Calento is distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store. This allows for a secure and straightforward purchase process. If you are not satisfied with the app, you can request a refund directly from Apple. For more details, you can read my refund policy.
Calento displays all event times based on your Mac's current system time zone. Full time zone management features are being considered for a future updates.
Currently, Calento is focused exclusively on calendar events to provide the best meeting-focused experience. Integration with Apple Reminders is a popular request that I am exploring for the future.
